Networking 101: How To Approach a Potential Mentor

Who do you turn to for advice about getting through graduate/professional school?  As first generation college students, it is critical that you have several people that you can think of to turn to for professional advice on your academic and professional journey.  We have asked Naledi Saul, Director of Office of Career and Professional Development, to offer a lively and interactive workshop on how you can approach a potential mentor when you're networking at a mixer (like the upcoming reception on Feb 18 - hint! hint! ).

When: Thurs, Jan 22
Where: N 225 (Nursing Building, Parnassus)
Time: 12-1pm

For free lunch, RSVP to felicia.mercer@ucsf.edu

This event is a part of the Success Series:
